As JCW’s creative director and marketing strategist, Taylor Gast serves an essential role at JCW Creative. Responsible for collaborating and directing our creative team, she embodies JCW’s mantra of ‘Keep Thinking’. Along with her skills, experiences and naturally upbeat attitude, Taylor brings inspiration and fresh perspectives to every project.

Before joining the JCW team, Taylor was the communications director for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.

Serving 40,000 students and 6,500 employees, Taylor filled several essential communication roles including public relations, crisis communications, social media management and website development. She was also responsible for the creation and success of the EBR Elf Tree Project, a philanthropic endeavor that provides Christmas presents to homeless students in need.

Taylor joined the JCW team for the opportunity to fully embrace creativity and innovation across a variety of industries.

“There is so much opportunity here at JCW. We’re growing and expanding so quickly, and we can really be the authors of our own destiny.”

Taylor provides our team with a number of valuable skills including her ability to translate the needs of our clients to the marketing team. She enjoys creating a collaborative environment for clients that turns their goals into ideas and strategies designed for success.

Taylor also enjoys contributing to mission-driven projects. Her devotion for philanthropy shines through with her volunteer work for the Best Dressed Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. She strives to positively impact her community, whether that is through projects with clients or her own personal efforts.

Taylor and her husband Josh are also expecting their first child in February, and we are so excited to experience this journey with her! Taylor’s arrival to our team provides us with immeasurable guidance, experience and drive, and we cannot wait to see her talents thrive at JCW Creative.
